This small oil painting demonstration of roses began in Part I, with the 'Start" - Painting from life in my natural north lit studio, massing in my idea and stating the simple shapes, values and colour.

In this , Part II, I'm continuing, finding the simple shapes of the stems, leaves, flowers and carving and sculpting with the paint.

This is the second hour of an alla prima painting, edited and speeded up 2x. My method is to let the paint dry after this initial block in to eventually finish this little gem, however, it could also be considered finished. Oil on ACM panel, 8x6 by Bobbi Dunlop
